But please do not think less of cast aluminum furniture because it may be exactly what you are looking for. Cast aluminum is very durable, lightweight and it is also rust resistant. There are also thousands of different molds to choose from and most of them are absolutely gorgeous.

Granite outdoor dining tables have always been among our favorite pieces of furniture and the price for a large granite table has dropped a bit over the last couple of years. We like granite because it is like taking a piece of nature at its best and setting it in your back yard. Granite is very durable and extremely easy to clean and to keep clean. Granite will outlast you and me and although you will pay more money upfront granite’s longevity will make it one of your best long term investments.

Wicker furniture is probably the most well known material used for creating outdoor and indoor furniture. It is lightweight and compliments both casual and formal spaces. Recently wicker has been used to create outdoor dining tables where the entire frame is wicker and the table top glass. We like this look and like granite tables wicker brings in a natural element to any space. Wicker is not as durable as cast aluminum or granite but does okay against the weather and will last especially long if covered when not in use. Wicker is usually rather easy on the pocket book, too.

Next time you look online for that right piece of outdoor dining furniture remember that cast aluminum is inexpensive, durable and rust resistant. Remember that you will pay more for granite but its value cannot be beat and its beautiful smooth surface is easy to clean.
